7th Grade Homeroom - Hat Day

The 7th grade homeroom of the GLC shows off our cool and diverse hats for Hat Day of the Spirit Day series.  This was a great showing of school spirit and fashion sense by my most favorite of homeroom classes.  I can't wait to see what Crazy Hair day will bring.

On an unrelated note the MS just finished crushing the NECAPs and we are now refocused on learning about some amazing topics ranging from the rotation of the Earth to Bacon's Rebellion.

Learning is awesome!

Back to School!

School is back! What wonderful and great words those are.  We are now in our second week of school and it has been wonderful so see everyone after a long and relaxing summer break.  I could tell right away that students were really excited to be back on the first day of school. I am looking forward to a great year with a ton of learning from all grades.

Back from Scotland and excited to get back to school!

Hello!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful and safe vacation.  I am also sure that everyone has been doing lots of reading, using Epic Thinking on a daily basis and is extremely pumped to get back to school - I know I am.  My trip to Scotland was incredible and here are a few pics for you to check out and I will have a full slide show when we get back to school.

Summertime and the livin's easy

Now that it is the first day of summer & the last day of school I hope everyone has a wonderful (or wunderbar for the German Exploratory students) summer vacation. I know everyone will be well rested and ready to learn starting August 29th. I plan on getting a lot of school work prepared for next year, play with our new dog, explore Scotland for 10 days (which I will post pics when I get back) and play some golf - it will be sweeeeeeeet.

Everyone be safe, wear sunscreen, read a lot and enjoy the summer!
